Hey everyone,

Was just wondering if anyone knew what happened to Audio FX? I had them do some work on a couple of previous cars of mine, and was really happy with the results.

I just picked up a new car and wanted to talk to them about doing some work, and went down and found that it appears that they have shut up shop. None of their numbers work either.

Does anyone know if the guys that worked there are still trading? I think the guys name was Jimmy.

Closed down as of about 6 months ago. Only person i know of that used to work, and is now trading is Michael from Riverside Customs.

Or you could approach Riverside Customs. (as mentioned above, being an ex-employee from there, so technically, you wouldn't be changing.. merely... upgrading haha)

Just depends on the area you're situated in, really.

Im in the Northern suburbs- need someone to build a box and install a sub/amp into a Ford G6E-T along with some dynamat etc.

Well, if you don't mind the drive to Werribee (45 minutes from my place and I'm in Mill Park), then Riverside is one to consider for some piece of mind.

OTHERWISE, there's Street Sound and Vision in Bundoora, Hektik Car Audio in Brunswick, GL Pro Sound in Essendon..... there's a few spots to try. Go down to each store with a clear image of what you want down to your car, explain it to them, and get a price from each guy and compare

I checked out the Riverside website and that's my mates old Bel-Air on the main page! I asked him about Riverside and he said to go and check them out for sure.....

Shame that AudioFX has closed- they wired up my old Buick Lowrider. Here's a pic (next to Jades old Belair)
