G'day

I just wanted to use this chance to say thanks for today, it was cool how many new/altered cars were there and of course once again just like normal the day was well run and seemed to keep rolling along at a nice pace.

If anyone has any pics or vids of the red car I would love to see them :)

In regards to my own cars I was pleased to finally get the thumbs up for the gold car being novice and even happened to raise my "recognised" highest score a tiny bit so that was cool considering the battery has not been charged since Mount Barker :D some people already know and others might have guessed but this was one of the last sound offs for the gold car because I want to focus on the red one.

The red car had a lot go against it this week not least slipping off the front of the car trailer on Main North rd lol my subs did not turn up and as was seen today I didn't get the money together for the batteries it will be running.
About 7pm last night I was ready to surrender and not use it at all today but the biggest thanks needs to go to John from Marvey Tech and that lovable mexican Lunchy!!

With no testing and the subs getting bolted in this morning we still managed to do a 150 @ 34hz running one of the amps and having no real clue which song we should play lol

My subs should be here this coming week and once we have the batteries and do a little testing I'm looking forward to seeing what we can squeeze out of the glittery freak.

Once again a big thank you to everyone who had anything to do with running or organising todas event and a special thank you to Steve for the loan of the subs.

Dean.

Great day indeed.

Lots of work coming up for you no doubt to get the EX nice and loud, playing music & demoing! I bet lots of people are going to go away over the season break and start coming out with some new builds ;)

It's been a great season peoples - was a good turnout yesterday and very pleased with many of the scores, including seeing AJ's setup finally do a 150, even if it was in Bobo's car, and seeing the EX break into 150's on debut. I know there's more left in the EX, just a matter of time and testing and you'll be in the mid 150's, then the hard slog toward 160's mate.

Also major thanks to the competitors who showed up at the comps this year - both SQ and SPL outings have shown huge support and interest from competitors so i know we're on a good run. I hope to make it back into competing next season too.
Would love to see more cars pushing into the 150's next season - there have been afew Pro cars knocking on that door and i know with some more time testing and tuning it can be done, keep on it in the holiday's guys!

Gotta also add a big thanks to John again - he's been a huge supporter of MEASA this year.

Finally a big thanks to all the SPL and SQ Judges who have been involved this year - John, Bobo, Simon, Brett, Kane, Sam and Callum - for many of us the passion is in the building, testing, tuning and demoing our own systems and socialising with other people at events - putting your own car aside and volunteering to spend a day jumping in and out of cars on your own is hard work but it's done out of an enjoyment of the scene and hope that more people will "catch the bug".

Well done to you all, next season is gonna be bigger and better again!

Wanky uninstalled gear that I need to install in my 200sx this year:

Source: Alpine 9887

Front: 2 x SB Acoustics SB17 per door

Front Amplifier: Digital Designs S4a

Subs: 2 x Hybrid Digital Designs/PSi 99F series

Sub Amp: Digital Designs M2a

I'm looking forward to seeing some big builds next year :D things like AJ's ambo ect should be super loud and fun and from my understanding Sorin already has the runs on the board so of course I can't wait to see what he does.

Mr Bobo we will both have to get a demo lol...... the subs didn't get there untill that morning (thanks one last time Lunchy) and even the night before with just the two subs to check the amps worked the cd player was skipping in the dash so it had to be moved to the hatch.... some dopey person painted the rear window black so I didn't even get to see if the car was flexing much lol
