So I have a problem, a good problem but none the less a problem lol
My CD player in the EX keeps skipping when it's mounted inside the cabin because the lazer just can't handle the bass vibrations, the H/U I have is/was a decent one in it's day with time correction ect ect but one thing it does not have is ipod input. Right now the H/U is mounted in the hatch but I think for demos and to be considered a ground pounder it needs to be in the dash at least some of the time lol
I would like peoples opinions on what is a budget Head Unit with ipod input and decent functions? I am interested in not just hearing about brand new head units but even some that are a couple of years old.
thanks
Dean.

If you don't know how to ignore a post, complain to me and I will be only too happy to demonstrate.

Anything with 4v plus preouts is good.

It has no mechanical parts what so ever, 3 rca preout 24bit dac etc. Touch screen front panel easy to use good response to the touch, can turn off the built in amp so you get a better quality sound through the rca's. And has pause.
I love it mine has been bouncing on a home speaker sitting were the passenger seat should be a good 2cm and it handles it like a champ haha, not that i recommend doing it i just been to lazy to mount it yet aha.
Setup:
Clarion Digital Mechless HU
PPI 4ch 110wrms x 4
JBL GTO 608C 6.5" Splits
Bonecrusher 2 4000w rms @ 1 ohm 12v
4 150ah Exide Sealed Batteries
6 Elevation Audio SQx 12"
Shok Industries 0gauge
Stinger RCA's
