What I'm looking for is an interface (preferably a touch screen) that can tune an audison bitone without putting a friggin' pc in the car. Can it be done?

Not sure what inputs it would need, maybe just a run down of what is required, as I have no idea on bit ones.

These little embedded pc's are pretty nifty, maybe check out if one could be suitable : http://www.armdesigner.com/

Needs:
* a master USB input
* some form of cursor
* ability to install an *.exe
* File Structure
* Possibly the ability to read Dynamic Link Libraries (*.DLL files)

Looks bleak, I know.

I may be able to wangle a spare one we have at work for a trial for a few weeks, if that could help?

I will check if we have one, and the exact specs, if you would like?

From memory, it comes with winCE, but you can put linux on it, or something else if you want (boots off a SD card from memory, I can put a 16gb one in)

Let me know.

Unless you can port it somehow, it does seem it'd be best to get a winCE or similar tablet. I definitely understand the appeal of having a full tuning interface in-car, rather than relying on the DRC.

What about the ACER tablets which have Windows on them not Android.
