2011 MEA Christmas BBQ

When: Sunday December 11th

Where: Torquay

Start From: Point Park Docklands (Melways Map Ref – 2E E9)

Depart Time: 9:30am

Please Note Earlier Departure Time

Yes that time of year is fast approaching … Holidays are coming up and the man in the big red suit is getting closer

For this years BBQ we will be packing the eskies and heading down South!

Starting from the monthly Point Park meet point at Docklands and then cruising down to a BBQ spot in Torquay.

Since we don't have a reserved spot we'll be sharing with the general public and hence decided to get an earlier start to "beat the crowds" as it were.

It's approx a 90 minute cruise from Point Park to Torquay so will see us getting down there around 11:00am.

We have 4 possible BBQ sites to choose from, two on the Esplanade and another two on Surf Beach Drive ... so we'll make our choice on the morning when we get down there.

Don't forget it's all BYO … so pack all your food and drinks and cooking utensils and anything else you may need.

Come on down and join in the fun.

All are welcome, bring along family members, girlfriends/boyfriends, kids etc.

Last day of RC racing / AGM / Family BBQ / Fun day/ for the year for me.

Also I was down Anglesea on the weekend there is quite a nice BBQ area down there now. So if you get to Torquay and its all full might be worth sending someone to scout out Anglesea as a backup.
