Depends on everything. Car, box, port area, woofers, tune, positioning, loading, frequency, car peak.

700 watts rated isn't an overly low amount of power.

Bobo has done 148ish from 1500w

Doug and I burped a 150 at 36hz off a clamped 1700w and one dead woofer.

As Big V said, 1500w is not really low power...

*Awaits old school guys who had AudioControl meter and Cheater amps*

EDIT: disclaimer: scores set at a certain Easternats event dont actually count :P

Mad Ras(spelling?) on here, was doing 141's off 2x clarion 15"s and a jaycar 4x 100rms 4ch in his yellow pulsar, running 2ohm off a pair of the channels, which i believe is around 150rms per woofer...

as far as i'm concerned thats an AWESOME score off <300rms...

700rms really is plenty of power, and 1500rms+ is a tonne...

If you want big numbers off low power you need a high sensitivity subwoofer and a tapped horn.

I'd be thinking probably 300wrms-500wrms

Basic entry level mono amp or multi-channel

I reckon it has to be <500w RMS rated to be considered "low power."

On a first run in an N15 pulsar hatch me and my friend did a 140.6db from memory, 2 old unknown kenwood 12's, 600wrms at 2ohm, 47ish hz 90mm single flared port, loading off the tailgate. With some tinkering should get it a little higher.

about the best part was the overal simplicity of madd_rass's install... it was very much what i would consider an "amature" install, not in a bad way, but you can tell when someone knows what they're doing, and when someone has just had a red hot go at it! and this was very much the latter, port was almost non existand, maybe 20mm wide, and i'm not even sure how long it was, i seem to think it was just the thickness of the mdf baffle....

(thats the port between the subs there)

i'm hoping Jason doesn't take this the wrong way, simply put i was VERY impressed with it, there was no real logical reason why it would work, but it did, and it got loud, and low too...doing the 141 at around 40hz...
