Hello Everyone, this is my first review.

Today i will be reviewing Shock Industries new unofficially released Alumimum Tweeter Pods.

After unwrapping the pair my initial impressions where impressed with a very well crafted piece of Aluminum,

The housing is a single piece of Aluminum that looks as its been spun and lathed, and once the tear shape is achieved there are two holes drilled out for the arm and locking pin

The Arm is threaded on one end and sphere on the other, the sphere sits within the main shell and pivots. the pivot point is loosen and tightened by allen key through the inside of the arm, which poses a problem during the positioning/tuning period.

Once you mount and secure the Pod, The Speaker wire runs through the arm, larger gauge cable will not fit through this space, an option is to strip the insulation off the wire and re-insulate each wire with heat shrink to pass it through

After examining the craftmanship, I grabbed one of the "L1 Pro's" and it dropped in like loading a gun. The tolerances are minimal.

The tweeter and pod almost look as one. with a slight design tweak, this could be better.

To secure the tweeter there is a small locking pin which screws in with an allen key on the side of the pod, though you may have trouble finding a key in its tiny size.

Overall it is the perfect installation accessory, Which are also made for a range of other tweeters.

I will post more once i install them in my own car :)

Thank you for reading my review

With ANY range of tweeter, a minimum order of 10 pairs per tweeter brand/model is required.

What are the chances of these being available in Black finish to match the new L1 Pro SE's?

Wanky uninstalled gear that I need to install in my 200sx this year:
