For the 2012 MEASQ season in SA, we want to set up a network in the car community to get hosts for competitions, new competitors, event ideas, sponsorship and support.

We are preparing an information pack to be distributed to our network so they know what MEASQ is, who we are, how they can get involved, and get more information.

I'd like SA members help to gather the name and basic details of EVERY car related entity in SA!!!

• Retailers / stores involved at all with car audio
  
• Installers
  
• Agents & distributors
  
• Car clubs
  
• Car forums
  
• Performance shops and suppliers, dynos, tuning houses, etc
  
• Event organisers ie show and shines, cruises...
  
• Etc!

ANY input is welcome, even if you don't think it has much to do with SQ we still want to know! Names and whatever basic details you can get would be appreciated, we can find extra info but the more you can tell us the less work we will have!

Once we have a database together, I would love some helpers for the following regions to help us distribute information packs and put a name to a face to help us get people on board:

• North
  
• Central / CBD
  
• South
  
• Non-metropolitan areas ie Mount Barker, regional areas

More than one helper per region is fine, great even! If you can help out on an ongoing basis ie a few times a year, all the better. Become a part of the committee, have your say on MEASQ matters and help promote the competition scene!

Regarding car clubs a good start would be SMASA as they offer affiliation for other clubs, affliated clubs receive a newsletter from SMASA which includes information like which MEASA is trying to get out there.

I am pretty keen to have a chat to my store manager RE being a part of this. I may even be able to get some manufacturers and/or distributors on board through work. It depends ultimately on the ruling of the center we are in but i'll see what I can rig up for a show venue/support for the inner north.

I used to frequent Street & Just Commodores, and still do with LS1. com, did you want me to start hitting them up about the entire deal??
