Extra Info: DLS need no introduction to car audio enthusiasts. What many may not know is the DLS M66 are well regarded also in HiFi circles. In fact, this pair of M66 have been used only for auditioning MEASQ Reference Material and Judges Training. They have a beautifully accurate sound. I could happily live with these as a great reference for years to come, however priorities change and the money is more important at the moment. There will be an upgrade down the track as funds allow.
They are as good as brand new (except the drivers are close to run in now), in perfect condition and come complete with the packaging (double boxed).
Technical specifications:
The M66 are DLS most advanced high end speaker. They’re built for stability and dynamics, down to the smallest micro detail.
The drivers use a very advanced magnetic system and aluminium diaphragms damped by an innovative dust cap, combined with low weight aluminium voice coils and a cast basket.
The ultra-stable cabinet has double baffles and is slightly angled to eliminate phase effects. The bass driver as well as the tweeter is mounted through extra solid fixings to handle the tremendous power transmission.
