We'll be playing the judging cd ( and others of course) on the home system (see my sig below) and if someone can bring along a mic and RTA unit, we'll have some quick RTA sessions for those also interested. A PC based system would be good so we can save each result and email it to the owner. Just a thought.
Power is no problem and any cars doing RTA will be under cover while they're being measured.
I'll also supply the bbq and some salad stuff - bring your own snags, steak, tofu, whatever, and drinks.
We can sit out on the deck and talk the usual talk.
Dates; 14th April and 7th July.
Start: 1pm - ish until not too late.
Private message me if you want to come and I'll let you know my address (I don't wish to publish it openly)

These are a great opportunity to learn and understand what music sounds like on a decent system AND how to tweek their cars to get them sounding better. They're also great just for a yarn and a catch up.
I'm not sure if many people have had the opportunity to listen to a nice home system and how our test discs (when we know what it'll be) and other music sound on them.
I'm offering up my new place, big 6 burner bbq, and audio system to help out.
My system's not big but it's now sounding the best it has in a few years after some semi serious tuning and tweaks.
We could even have another at someone else's place if they're happy to volunteer later in the year. Otherwise, both at my place is just fine.
In conjunction with this, it's also appropriate that we step up the test'n'tune side of things as well to help us all share ideas and show each other how it's done in a less competitive format.
Maybe someone could volunteer an RTA for 15 minute RTA sessions perhaps? (yes, I know a good RTA can take much longer but at least a quick measure up can let us know major areas of concern from a balance point of view)
So, I'd like to know what you'd like in each.
How many of each for next year - 2 of each?
Have your say and we'll lock in some dates for them for next year's calendar.
Cheers,
Winno
