good god the slash V.3's look so damn sexy in black!!! i want i want!!!

the woofer used in the home sub looks pretty sex if you ask me!! why can't we buy that one on it's own...?! lol



also liking the face lift on the p80, it was never a bad looking unit but the face lift really modernizes it... i like!


but about the coolest thing i've seen from CES tho is the Sony mirrorlink setup... not sure how it goes with all phones but with the galaxy S it looks the goods!! VERY keen to see some more details!!

• Nice classy styling (doesn't look like a classic star trek prop).
  
• 210,000 colour customisation (better than re-colouring the whole interior and dash to blue/white).
  
• Built in processing equal (or better) to that of the H100 and similar devices.
  
• Built in BT.
  
• Dual USB
  
• App mode.

I was hoping to see something like this from Alpine, but looks like just a suite of more non ai-net enabled HUs. Unless something better hits AUS before this, it may be time for me to finally trade in all my blue boxes...

The new P80 looks kind of like the current DEH-9350, which isn't a bad thing. I like that they've added all the connectivity options you'd expect from a high end head unit as well as retaining/tweaking the SQ side of things.

I can't sus the JL catalogue on the other hand. For some reason it won't open...

Been checking out the japanese version of the 80PRS (DEH-970) link as mentioned in another ces thread.

The display and interface look really nice.



And some nice graphics in the tuning section to assist graphically minded n00bs (like myself)








The selectable colours look really flexible, plus split between display and functional button colour settings is nice.




Sorry couldn't get the flash demo to embed any larger... link to larger version (anyone know the correct dimension syntax for the new bbcode media tag?)

I really hope they bring this out in Aus!
