It's probably not surprising to anyone but Strathfield has once again gone into administration has closed their stores. For some people it is sad news, particularly the staff, but as they say you can't keep flogging a dead horse. Hopefully there is no-one silly enough to try and bail them out this time.

noticed and cared .... i worked for them for nearly 3 years thru up s and down but flogging a dead horse was right . noone cared enough apart from the staff at floor level!
it will be sorely missed.. i bought my first sub from Strathfield in gouger st adelaide ! will be badly missed

Noticed and cared too. Didn't work there, but it was sad to see it was only floor staff, not management care about the stores well being. In particular the Hoppers Crossing store had a faded sign and blacked out windows, looked closed the first time i went there.
There was tens of thousands of dollars of bollocks like toy cars and helicopters, dozens of junk TV's, but the shelves were unstocked of car audio for those vital impulse buys on pay-day afternoons.
