FREE - cardboard tubes - Ports?

I regularly (like twice a week) have 3" ID (3.25" OD) card board tubes about 1mtr long.
These may be useful to someone - other wise we just chuck them out.
The are used to hold 150mtr rolls of paper for our plan printer so they are fairly rigid.
PM me if you want any (They're located in dandenong Vic)

I printed all the pipe wraps (and there was hundreds of the SOBs) on southern cross station on a HP designjet 500 inkjet. Can't believe it managed and that I didnt go insane. It takes about 15 seconds compared to 3 minutes to do an A1 on the laser Vs the inkjet.

Ours is an Oce Plotwave 300. BW printing/copying and colour scanning. Best $22k I've spent in a long time! Saves so much hassle compared to the old HP design jet 800. Colour wasnt much more but it was heaps slower so we figured that for the amount we use colour we could get away with just the A3 colour Ricoh.
Its good especially when you have projects like the two big jobs were doing at the moment with 150+ A1 marking plans that you need 3 copies of each some of which are up to rev 8 you want them in a hurry. I can have a full set of shop drawings, setouts and plans printed off in less time than it takes to hook the prime mover upto the trailer - well nearly. I reckon I've saved over $20k in courier fees for this job were doing at waurn ponds at the moment that I would normall have to cop because plans havent arrived in time to get on the truck with the steel. I some times wonder how we survived 4 years ago without a plotter at all!
