magnetic shielding is messy and expensive to customise.

if you use shielded speakers it helps.

putting the coils at right-angles to the magnetic field will help a lot.

Hmmm 90deg may be possible, I had a chat to my old man and he confused me but he did say there is a chance the signal going to the speakers may become more negative or positive if the inductors are too close.

So I can't just Sika a bit of sheet metal on the speaker, that sucks.

I got the spray gun out today and ended up doing lots of swearing after forgetting I put some oil in the check valve and didn't blow it out before spraying, oops.

I would say the problem is changing the inductance of the coils from the magnet of the speaker, not the other way around.
