i have always sworn by eminence speakers in my bass cabs, to the point where i'd turn down sponsorships, simply because the cabs i'd have to run weren't running eminence drivers... nothing has ever stood the punishment i've thrown at my cabs like eminence drivers, in the pro audio arena, i think there's very few brands that stand up to the absolute punishment that i've put my gear thru... hell i dropped one of my Cabs down the steps of parliment house in the ACT, i forget how many steps but it bounced from top to bottom, i still have that cab sitting in my garage now as good as the day i bought it....
i will say tho, that Eminence's neo range just isn't of the same calibre, at least not to me... i bought a couple of the newer versions of my cabs which used the neo drivers, mainly for the weight issues, wasn't long before they were gone and i was back to the old cabs...
basically anything from the Eminence line (except possibly the neo range) will last you a lifetime, and it will only get better with age... hell i'm pretty sure ALL eminence lines are reconable too... with soft parts available directly from eminence... which is always handy!
atm, the front stage in my next car will 99% be eminence drivers, so they definitely get my tick of approval (not that thats worth much) both in the pro audio world, and car audio...

I heard Finezy's 3 sets of Orion splits and were amazed at there clarity at them volumes. But would set me back around the $600 mark for that sort of setup lol.
Im hoping in the end to be able to do a 150 with fronts keeping up decently, pro audio driver seem to be the only thing that will do this sofar.
Also last of all i remeber the guys who had the 2512's in a wall and had 8" drivers right infront of the seats and was wondering how that works, or did he have it do midbass and have other speakers for the more directional midbass and high frequencies?
I am slowly learning more and more as i go some good info here not just for me but other up coming ground pounders wanting to do 150's
