G'day

This topic pretty much speaks for it'self, what is your aim for 2012 when it comes to SPL? don't be shy lol go out on a limb and set your goal or prodict what you are hoping your pb will be next year.


With the EX I want to be hitting much closer to 160 but considering it will still play music I guess I will be happy North of 155dB.

I also plan on having a daily that will play music in the mid 140s.

Big call? I guess we will wait and see lol

well my aim for 2012... hmmm...

hoping to have project siddy up doing more than 155.5db, as thats the current Aus record...doing 153's with one amp, one batts, so it's not far off at all... thats probably the 1st goal of 2012...

then i wish to build my new daily groundpounder... or at least buy the car, fully reinforce all the cabin and basically prepare the car itself for the build... if the wall build doesn't happen till 2013 i won't be too fussed... the plan is for the car to stand for a LONG time as one of the worlds loudest, so i'll take my time and build it right...

hopefully i'll also finally get the system i have sitting here into the caprice, maybe even get some paint and panel repairs... but thats not exactly a priority atm, just trying to keep the damn thing running is enough...

if i get the chance at some point i wouldn't mind burning the charade to the ground... that would be nice...

Lunchy if you're really going to burn it you should think about doing an "EXO" with it, you know a lot of people love that car and you could make someone just starting out very happy and give them the boost they need.

honestly i couldn't bring myself to ever actually burn it... just very much feel like doing so at times... hahaha

Cant be surely, Andu was doing 158's in SSNW, i believed the SSNW record was 158.??

Also considering that car has done 156.8 i think you should aim a bit higher, we all know your capable

i'm talking more about current records...

BUT yesterday that record was reset at 156.7db my Eric up in NSW... a fantastic effort on his behalf...


honestly i'm aiming a fair bit higher than 155's... but the last thing i want to do is go about boasting my goals which i may never see, i'd rather aim for for something i see as quite achievable, as surpass that, than to aim super high, and possibly not meet those goals...

one step at a time, and now with the current record being 156.7, my goal is now 156.8, as you said, a number the car has already made...

I'm just aiming to hopefully have managed to get everything, put it in and hope to get to at least one meet to get a number on it.

I really have no idea on what numbers to aim for, I'll just play it by ear (no pun intended)
