What is the tool you use with your router to make perfect circles? (the thing you attach to the bottom of the router which you screw into the wood or whatever and you just go around in a circle) do you make it? is there anywhere you can buy it? and what work does it involve? just drilling a hole in the middle, the edge and just making the circle?
Also, I'm planning on making a custom parcel shelf out of mdf (old one is mdf, but made very poorly for 6x9's) and i'm planning on having a hole in the middle (square) to allow the sub bass to enter the cabin a bit easier. I plan to leave some bracing, so if somebody puts something on top of the carpet, it doesn't fall through/ fall over due to nothing under it.. also so nobody knows its there. pic below to show what i mean a bit better.
Would i just use a jiggsaw to make the holes? or would i just cut the square, then put some wood in the middle for bracing? ie leave it as one piece, or make the three holes in the wood, then make the bracing afterwards? (alternatively, just leave the hole there, and not make bracing)

Sorry if that made no sense.. I hope it makes some sense ><
