Hey guys,
Im having a crack at fixing a mates amp. Its a jaycar response amp. Just trying to hunt down the burnt out transistor.
C4468
5n y
Is what is written on it.
Ive seen this on ebay
http://www.ebay.com....=item4ab229aa23
Is it a good enough substitute? Although the bottom numbers are different?
Kind Regards,
Jess

Hi Jess,
The transistor required is a Sanken NPN Triple Diffused Planar Transistor. The part number you're looking for is 2SC4468 (C4468 are the same thing). The markings below the part number refer to a lot number which is basically the date of manufacture.
I would be careful in purchasing similar items from HK as there are counterfeits around: http://sound.westhos...nterfeit-p2.htm
I hope this helps.
Regards Casey

definitely buy it from a reputable seller - i.e. local bricks and mortar shop, or the likes of Element14 (Farnell, Newark), Radio Spares, etc.
