Hi guys,

Just after a bit of advice as to how to make my car sound better. Currently I am running:

Eclipse CD3200
Audison LRx 4.1k
MB Quart premium splits front
MB Quart discus rears
Hertz HX250 sub

Everything is currently powered off the Audison at the moment which is slightly worrying since the fronts and rears are hooked in parallel by the installer. I regretted not specifying exactly how I wanted the system to be built since I assumed the rears would run off the deck, but that's not the point. I am also slightly worried that my amp won't be able to power the whole lot cleanly...

All the speakers use the stock standard mounting positions and I want to keep it that way (I want to keep OEM look), the most I was thinking of doing is to adjust the speakers and angle them to point more on axis with my head so that the listening angle is better.

Right now the rears mess with the soundstage quite a bit since I cannot adjust the fader on my deck. This is why I want to see what can be done to improve the system. I have a feeling that if I remove the rear channels it will give me a cleaner soundstage and that would also cost me nothing, but it would leave me with 2 speakers not doing anything.

I was looking into eventually buying a monoblock to power the sub and run the speakers off the audison amp as well as buying a processor (was thinking bit-ten) to help with the EQ a bit and that got me thinking about a few things(mainly rear fill related), since a processor will allow me to do some fancier things to compensate for the rather standard installation...

Bandpass rear fill as mono channel from 80hz-2900hz (2900hz is the crossover of my front splits) - what is the best way to incorporate rear fill into my system? Should I high pass them at 80-90hz like I am doing with the fronts and fade the rears appropriately? Or bandpass from 80-2900hz and set it up as a mono channel to focus the soundstage at the front? Is there a frequency range that I should be looking at to keep the imaging up front?
Time delay the rears to create a deeper soundstage - thoughts?

Any advice would be really appreciated!
