Hi, I'm new here and hoping someone has a bit of advice.

I have a 2002 Toyota Windom that I brought in from Japan years ago - it's basically a Lexus ES300 with different branding.

It has a combination navigation unit/stereo/TV (called the "Wide Multi AV Station"), and for the last two years the volume is so low you can barely hear it when driving. I'm not sure if this is because of a fault or because of something called ASL that is supposed to lower the volume and raise it depending on how fast you are going to compensate for engine noise.

In any case I'd be happy just to swap the stereo out for anything that would fit and we could hear. Any idea if there is an audio shop in Sydney that is good with grey imports and that doesn't charge an arm and a leg?

Thanks,

J

By "good with grey imports" I assume you mean that they will be skilled/knowledgeable enough to work on your car?
Not, that you want recommendations of stores that sell grey-import audio gear...?

FHRX Studios and Frankies Auto Electrics are both MEA Approved Specialist Retailers.
