OK lads and wimminz, We now have a challenge thread.

SO, to get it off and kicking, I will post three different modes, three different tracks, and three different cars to use. The aim is to go to the club leaderboards (or anywhere else you want) and get the fastest time/ most points you can.

-For track, Get the fastest single lap time you can on the specific track
-For drift, Get the most points on a single lap you can
-For drag, Get the fastest time you can

We will be running each set of challenges for a week at a time, so we have enough time.. The winner of each one will recieve a makeshift trophy made in paint by me, because I am the best at paint (loljks I'm horrible at paint :3 )

Ok, let's get cracking.

Circuit
Car - 1971 Skyline 2000GT-R (R2 813 found in club garage)
Track - Sunset Peninsula Full
Fastest person with time - nobody did it xD

Drift - RWD
Car class - S class.
Track - Maple valley short - Reverse
Most points - Thus far:
1- Lunchbox 31,000~ (he had 31k before his current posted car)
2- Bobo 29,299 - S615 Pontiac G8 GXP
3- Drifter 23,843 - S698 Nissan Skyline r34

Drag
Car class - B class cars.
Track - Test Track Drag 1/2 mile
Fastest Time - 00:20.666
Drifter995 Mitsubishi eclipse

So yeah, get out there and beat people's times

Round 2:
Rules for this round are as follows:
If a car is specified, along with a class, You are allowed to modify said car in any fashion, so long as it ends up being within the class set.
The point of said challenge is to see who can make said car go faster/ who is a better driver and who tunes their cars the best way.

Also heres the Tsukuba time attack C Class challenge, only rules are:

Car must be C Class, and track must be Tsukuba Full, fastest single lap time

1st: lunchbox, 1:05.3
2nd: bobo 1:05.4
3rd: AJ 1:06.0

01:09.207 in c time trial. del slows have very very bad low end power Vtec with boost = VTEC JUST KICKED IN... after a very slow start

I'll add you guys and try and post some good times. I'm hopeless at drifting but not too shabby at circuit racing. I don't get to play the game much so it might be a bit of a slow slog but I'll quit my other car club and join this one for a while to add a bit to the scoreboard.

as for the circut/drift/drag challanges... i would suggest limiting the track, and the car class, not specifying the actual car... as it makes it alot more fun to build a car specifically for that challenge, and we see which way people go with their build etc... eg. for circuits whether they go for a light nimble but rather gutless car, or a no handling all power kinda path... just makes it that much more interesting...

also my net is being ghey and not allowing me to use cars from the garage... and that ka can't drift to save it's life... lol

change it STAT!!! i want to start posting numbers already!! hahaha

Also, note to everyone, Delslows are horrible in c class if you turbo them >.>

Edit: Can I keep the circuit challenge, since bobo already made a c class one, I just wanna see how people fare with the insaneskyline

actually i've never drifted that track before, it's AWESOME!!! i love maple valley full, but this short reverse is awesome, you can do the whole track on one solid drift!! how awesome is that!!! i LOVE it!!!

i actually went thru and watched your replays last night... go have a look if you can watch mine or bobo's.... i think you'll find we take some VERY different lines, but be worth going thru our vids on the club leaderboard and try to follow those lines, they are different but you'll get used to them pretty easily, then just adopt your own style to them...

other than that a new car can make a world of difference...? i find something a little longer can make a world of difference...

im loving my camaro, i was struggling to drift anything else but the tune on it suits me perfect lol!, just need to find some more angle on the last corner of maple and get the transition between the hairpin and the last corner nailed and im coming for ya lunchy!

also i completely rebuilt my civic for tsukuba and got it down to 1:06.2 with minimal tuning, a few more tweaks should see me break into the 1:05s

I keep building things which have horrible bottom end :| But i suppose that doesn't matter too much as long as I keep it above 4k rpm..

Also, need more spazzing on the circuit car I used... can't remember what it was... pre-sure it was a mitsubi... might have another couple of cracks at it, with the fastest time on ghost. see how i go.
