the pros and cons of an eclipse cd5415 head unit has any had 1 or know of any problems with them ?

lol ok then!!!!
when speaking about pre outs. eg 5v preout like the eclipse 5415 does. how does higher the volt influence stereo systems ?

It's not a huge problem if a headunit has lower RCA pre out voltage, might mean you need to run a little gain on the amplifier. 5v pre out would be preferable.

Just dictates where you set the gain knob. :)

im running a soundstream 2500d amp at 1ohm (2500rms) with the eclipse head unit. i switch the input sensitivity on my mono block from 1-2v to 2-8v and i hardly get any bass compare to the 1-2volts but on the other hand i get to much bass down low on the 1-2v. should i increase the gain on the 2 - 8v or lower the gain on the 1-2v ? the gain is currently set nearly 3/4 of the way. also my head unit goes up to volume 80 what volume should i tune it to ?
