I've recently had a set of Morel Tempo coaxial speakers fitted in the front, no sound deadening was done (will be done in the future) and they are running off a Pioneer DEH-6350SD head unit.

Tonight on the way home from work I played Celtic Thunders new album on there, was an mp3 not a CD.

I have never in my life heard anything so amazing, that includes home theatre setups.

I'll be connecting them to a Boston Acoustics 2 channel amp down the track and get a Morel 10" Ultimo SC subwoofer too.

How much better are the top of the range Morels than the ones I have?

I honestly can't imagine hearing better than I did tonight, would love to go and check out an SQ comp.

For me its not so much the equipment, because with gear its often surrounded or hampered/held back by the law of diminishing returns....
If you think it sounds good now, wait till you really start experimenting with better/different install & tuning techniques! Then that side of car audio can take on its own definition!! :D

So to answer your question... not much more, but with the right install/tune could take you to another level again.

Be careful! :)
Several times, I've installed a new set of gear or even single changes and thought "wow, this is good" and then I hear something else and realise it can still get better. Its addictive!

This is the beauty of car audio. You've discovered the passion :) Welcome :)

For me, it's when it sounds so good you want to grab your entire CD collection and head out to the driveway to listen for hours (well that was before iPod's existed and your whole music collection was but a button click away)! :)

Life is good. Last year I discovered cycling. This year I discovered a good sound system.

Next year I want a 3 ways install for my tour de France bicycle - it will be active, has 2 12" sub with fancy amps and a yellow top battery to match the Yellow jersey.

Welcome to cycling and car audio :)
