JL Audio Slash 1000.1/v1

I recently purchased a Slash 1000.1/v1 from Langa's however unlike most mono blocks I have come across this unit has 2 positive and 2 negative inputs. According to the manual if two sub woofers are connected the amp will automatically assume a parallel circuit, however my question is can I connect one voice coil per pair of connections? If the amp automatically creates a parallel circuit then my DVC 4ohm sub woofer would load down to 2ohm.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

If so, yes, one VC per set of terminals is fine, and will create a 2ohm load. If it's easy to join the VCs 'at the sub', then you don't have to use as much speakerwire, and it'll be neater. But no difference in performance.
