I got a new interior light that I have wanted to make for a long time and I can't wait to show you all.

I don't know if Veyron will be able to come as I think he's about to shed and he can get grumpy when he's shedding.

Is anyone bringing a decent camera? I need some new photos for my story board.

Hello everyone!

I am new to this and i would like to enter (newbie class) for the first time today. I have read the rules and am wondering 2 things:

1) Can i borrow a fire extinguisher and have it inside the car or do i have to have bring my one secured one in order to enter?
2) I dont have a switch type circuit breaker just a normal fuse thing (like the one u get in wiring kits). Does this mean i will have to bring tools along and show that i can disconnect it in 30secs? Will i have to disconnect it? If i bring just a socket to disconnect the battery power cable is this the same thing?

Some help would be appreciated thanks!

Hi wai,

You need the fire extinguisher secured inside the car. At short notice you can pick one up from any Autobarn, Supercheap Auto, BCF etc. They come with a mounting bracket also.
To answer your second question, yes, bring the tools to show you "can" disconnect it within 30 seconds. Being your first event, you will be guided by the judges and helped out with any advice etc.

Thanks for the info guys. I better go grab a fire extinguisher asap! My build is not finished (nor is SQ spec lolz) but looking forward in participating and checking out some nice cars/installs!

The event ended up being postponed except DbDrag due to rain, we did however end up doing a test n tune.
We are looking at a replacement event in April at this stage.
