SQ Round 1 Results & Reflections



With temperatures in the high 30's it was a challenging day for both judges and competitors at MEA South Australia's first MEASQ event for 2012.

Despite the conditions it was good to see a lot of the usual competitors along with some new faces. Im hoping someone will have photos to upload as i forgot my camera on the day.

Once again well done to everyone who attended, competed or contributed to the event. In particular congratulations to the class winners

Novice Class:

1st - Anthony Pestka (115 Points) Holden Calais

2nd - Trent Durjess (105 Points) Ford Fairmont Ghia

3rd - Paul Laurence (100 Points) Ford Falcon


Intermediate Class:

1st - David Janitz (114 Points) Holden Calais


Advanced Class:

1st - Callum Martin (102 Points) Mazda 6

2nd - Luke Elliott (90 Points) Mitsubishi Magna

3rd - Kane Redigolo (88 Points) Ford Laser

Looking at who was in Novice...I think all three novice competitors could have almost had a shot at inter! Might be worth encouraging them?

Sam or Callum, is it possible to insert the MEA usernames for the winners and grinners?
This is beneficial for those who only know usernames and not in the same State of the competition..

This round party due to my inattention not all the judging forms were completed with both Names and MEA usernames.

Ill make sure that for future rounds this happens and that they are posted up
