Today Alpine has announced it has release its latest mid level source unit. This undoubtably will be there best bang for buck head unit with full expandability to power a full blown stereo system.

It sexy new looks follow in the footsteps of its younger brother the CDE-133EBT including the ability to be able to choose between 4 different colours of illumination.

This unit comes with 3x 4v Pre-Outs Front, Rear, Sub and will consist of high and low pass filters and a three band eq for full customisation and control of your vehicles stereo system.

It is expect that this new unit will replace the old CDE-123EBTi, further improving on its predecessor by adding built in Parrot Bluetooth with External Microphone for crystal clear conversations (previously an addon module was required). In addition the new CDE-135EBTi will include full bluetooth handsfree music streaming along with a front and rear USB port for full iPod/iPhone control and charging for those dire moments. (USB Cable Inlcuded)

A good point to note is this unit is compatiable with Nokia phones also for full source unit control. Great news for Nokia holders ;)

Carbon can now get their hot little hands on this unit when ever you require so please feel free to give us a call for a great price.

RRP $399 inc GST Full Specifications attached below.

Alpine are becoming better value again, which is great to see.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Does anyone know whether the CDE-135EBTi is compatible with the iPhone 5 and iPod Nano 7G? I am interested as to whether it is possible to control an iPhone 5 or iPod Nano 7G via the back USB port of the receiver, in both ‘head unit mode’ (through the receiver) and ‘ipod mode’ (through the iPhone/iPod itself). I'm sure that bluetooth streaming works with these devices, but I like the idea of having my iPod in the glovebox rather than having a stray cable from the front of the receiver. Thanks
