I just posted in the ask a question section ahah
I sent him something aswell, at about 10 this morning, just inquiring about these 250db's seeing as 180db is considered "death of hearing tissue", but hey some people can use an apparent thirty five thousand dollars worth of gear to break limits I suppose.
Adam I will love you long time if you take a meter around there. Just be careful because you might vanish in the "shiny fiberglass", "$10,000 subs" and "Electric Motors".

I'm questioning a lot about the auction.. one off wheels? that don't sound right.. they look like your average wheels...
And I doubt he was sponsored by kicker.. anyone have any insight?
Either way, full of bollocks, I hope nobody buys it and goes 'OMG, I GOTS A LOUD AS CAR' only to get it home and have it do like 146db and cry.. that'd be sad :/
Wonder if he's clever enough to not post the questions on the auction.. somebody question how he isn't famous with a score like that... xD see if he replies, and posts it on the auction wall

hmm I remember seeing that car at a WA Autosalon many many years ago
in fact if memory serves I think it may of even been built by KalSPL
not sure where he got the figure of $10k each for the subs from, I believe retail is more like $2200

But seriously, somebody ask him if he meant 150, or if he was serious about 250, if he says 250, say you'll buy it if it tests 250. bam

Meh... $35k... good luck.....
250dB+ hey.... He'd struggle on 150 with that. I'd believe a 140 maybe.... The enclosure isnt exactly screaming SPLs... it's screaming more like "LOOK AT MUAAAH.... now what!"
EDIT: 75% trader rating aswell..... not bad

if Kal had anything to do with it then i'd easily believe 150's, the gear is capable of it, and Kal's expertise in getting loud is undeniable...
i would take a stab at this guy having bought the car from another party with the intention of using it as a show car over here, for whatever reason that isn't possible (i would have a guess at it not being able to pass RWC due to the cut rear bulkhead) so its now for sale again... i would think that he may not have had it all that long, because i dare say we would have seen it somewhere if he loves his audio that much...
as for the wheels, that makes me laugh, the Boyds have been around for quite some time, and have always been offered in any stud pattern you like, as well as coming as blanks (no holes drilled) as for personally buying them off boyd a month before he died, Boyd sold his wheel business a few years ago, staying on as a partner in namesake only, he's had nothing to do with the wheels for years... lol
clearly the guy dosn't know alot about the car, or what has gone into it and is just trying to make a sale...

Still up for somebody questioning whether it was meant to be 150 or 250, and if 250, test >

Depends on the commo, the VL-VN came factory with 180D bee's where as the VR through to VZ came with 225D Bee's. Then theres Vegeta with over 9000D bee's, its getting harder and harder to compete these days.
But honeslty if his car is loud enuf to shake all the epic sauce out of his souvlaki its got to be over 250 easy . . . . his cuz will be jealous.

Dear peaandham2009,
it was a typo that has already been fixed.
- brendadockrey1
Is he correct in saying that 196db is the loudest car recorded? Because i sent him the following.
Considering that 180db is the limit for destroying hearing tissue, and that the loudest sound possible to date is roughly 194db, I think you are misinformed.
So maybe he want to be around the ballpark of what I said? lol

I still want to see the bill for postage, if it sells interstate..
