I got bored the other day and though I want to make a Storyboard but don't want to spend hunderds of $$$ on geting one custom made. I then had this suddn though of making a storyboard on a T-shirt.

Ended up getting a 12 pack of iron-on transfers for $30 and 2 plain white shirts for $8.

This is the result:

Note: this is the only shirt I have made and it's for my own personal use. I'm not using the MEA logo in any sales and no money is being made.

Im thinking of making another one just in a different font but it depends on how adventurous im feeling.

i actually think this is an AWESOME idea... story boards are a great part of shows, as it obviously lets people know what in your car... but having a T-shirt is an AWESOME side, thing, whether it would completely replace a story board i'm not sure, as your not always going to be standing around your car, and even if you are, then people may feel rude just starring at your shirt... lol

BUT definitely a great concept!!

only thing i would suggest is making it a bit more exciting...?

- bolder font's
- colours
- and this one especially, cut out the iron on page before ironing it on, whether you cut in into a fancy shape, or just trim it so it forms around the words, it helps to present a more "professional" finish...

I agree top idea, and one that will get you extra points for originality in the show judging. Even if you dont have a proper story board and just make 2 shirts, one for you and one to hang near the car would be awesome. Top work.

I don't enter show (i judge show though) but I still like the idea of having a storyboard in the boot of the car for when I do have it at comps to give fellow competitors an idea of what im running in the car.

The shirt pictured was a bit of a rough draft to see how well it would work. Before this weekends comp I'm going to have another go and see if I can get it looking a bit better. Adding more colour is a good idea. I've also got the focal logo on the back of the shirt I just didn't take a photo of that because i may have slightly burnt it :P

I love it :D
Some more colours, and maybe some brands logos down the side if you can pull it off well enough, that'd look good.. maybe infinity logo on one shoulder and the trutech logo on the other? make for a more pro feel? :D

Iunno, either way, I like :D

It's gotta earn points for Unique/Innovative ideas too, if you did enter show of course :)

Good job and thinking outside the sub box :)

I love it, great idea, even if the shirt is just draped on the boot floor for people to read over.

As for;

only thing i would suggest is making it a bit more exciting...?

I think breast implants would definitely be the way to go here... :)

Love it. There are so many ways of making a banner but wearable storyboards have got to be the next level :)
