It's great to catch up away from the competitions and industry related event now and again though, and the monthly social events are a great way to get to know others. As mentioned, we come from all walks of life, varying ages, and different interests but we still share one common interest.
Many great friendships have been forged through MEA and our laid back Thursday night meets are a great way to meet some of the members and their families. All are welcome, but we ask only one thing. Brave up, and introduce yourself to those in attendance. We're not going to bite, and we're all a little shy ourselves at times so don't sit in your car. Jump out and say hi, and come along for a great time.
MEET & GREET, PATONY'S PIZZA + MAX BRENNER
It doesn't get much simpler than this. We all meet up at the car park under the West Gate Bridge, say our hello's and a quick chance to check out some cars. Then we cruise to Patony's Pizza for some delicious pizza on the edge of Clarendon Street (watching people try and reverse park is usually a highlight), then right across the road for the delight that is Max Brenner (chocolates and GREAT coffee). So come along, say hi. Tell us about yourself and get involved in the MEAVIC Social Club. What else have you got to do on a Thursday night, plus it's pay day for most so there's no excuse!
THURSDAY 22nd March

At 7:15pm we head to Patony's Pizza (274 Clarendon Street, South Melbourne)
Patony's Pizza Menu
Usually by about 8:30pm we walk across the road to Max Brenner (Menu Here)
A few stragglers (me usually) end up talking all sorts of random nonsense until about 10:30pm before we all head off home.
It's a fun night with loads of laughs. We can be completely immature, let our hair down (or not in Fury's case) and have a great time.
We welcome all, newbies, oldies (literally) and those in between. We are a bit weird (well some of us) and completely socially inept ... so if this sounds like your slice of pizza then we hope to see you there!
If anyone has any photos from previous social meet and greets at Patony's etc can they please add them to this thread.
Let's give punters an idea of what they are in for!
