My very first post on any forum
My name`s Rob from Macarthur area in Western Sydney.I was invited to join by JUSTDOFIT, after a recent sale (his new Pioneer DEH-P88RS) What a really nice guy!
I`m almost 42 and have been an appliance and A/C technician since i was 18. I drive a 2002 Citroen Berlingo.Yeah i know i`ts a work vehicle,but i don't treat it like one.
(Its my everyday ride)
I`ve always loved high end car audio but my ex-wife of 17 years spent all my money,so i couldn't afford anything i had my heart set on till after i left her.....WHOOOOHOO
My new partner of 7 years Tracey,recently my Fiance(better the 2nd time around) is extremely encouraging and loves high SQ music also.She understands our sicknesses!
So anyway this is my setup :
Pioneer DEX-P99rs head unit (sold the DEH-P88RS to justdofit)
Pioneer GEX-P20HD HD radio module (plugs into the P99RS IP bus for very nice digital radio expansion)
Alpine PDX-V9 amp
Alpine Type-X SPX-pro 17 components
Alpine 10" Type-X SWX-1043d sub
And lots of dynamat in the roof, doors ,floor and firewall.(can hardly hear a truck go past on the highway)
I listened to the Pioneer components vs the Alpines but they didn't do it for me for my kind of music.
All self installed with the vast knowledge i`ve acquired from lots of car audio forums.
I`m looking forward to lot`s more learning and checking out all the rides here.
