Hi All,

Afew years ago I was discussing with afew guys from Vic the idea of running an interstate SPL challenge somewhere central for SA and Vic (and potentially anyone else who wanted to make the trek).

In SA we've been successfully running our own series for a couple of years now, and had some interest from Autobarn Mt Gambier to have us go and host a large SPL event at their store during the warmer months next year.

Through discussions with them we've now penciled in a date for next year, the final weekend in February. It'll be run under the Soundoff Super Series rules which are available in the SA section of the forum. As always, trophies and great giveaways are up for grabs, and no doubt the event will draw some great industry support.

This is a throw-down - to the VIC guys.

Each of us are only about 4 hours away from the event. SA Guys are committed to going out there and flexing our best, Are there any Vic guys willing to make the trip down for the weekend and see if you can beat us at our own game?

Isnt Vic the only state running that format.

WA is in the works, as is NSW where we will be running an event soon

The format is free for all to use however

I would be interested however with all the trash talk that SA SPL people have towards the rest of the country wouldn't it be more fitting to use the BASS BATTLE format as this is the nationwide format and therefore it would be the ultimate test to prove that the SA SPL guys are that much better that they can win under any circumstances?

This is SA, we'll compete under SA rules for this one. I'm sure though that there's plenty of guys from SA keen to come along to a Bass Battle event in Vic and show you guys how Its done in your own state too some time LOL

mmmm fair point but in my opinion if you were to organise an interstate event the format used should either be a more common one or something that is voted on. either way good luck with it all then.

As we've been so often reminded Adelaide is still in its infancy of competition, so maybe its a good chance for the Vics to show us how u do loud...

now that was uncalled for but since you mention it, wouldn't the correct thing to do then be to run the national format and show you how its really done
