Ok so basically this is what I've planned. It's going in a sedan facing forward and this is a big a box I can go, it's only 80.5 litres after displacement even though 42.5 litres per sub is recommended. Port area is as big as possible (201sq.cm or 31.2sq.in) at 44Hz without being too close to rear wall or taking up too much volume. This isn't a build as such, just an experiment at this stage. I'll update with a video after it's installed..

Looks like a good plan coming together. At 44hz, i'm guessing a numbers car? Or you just LOVE the highs haha

Still needs some isolating off from the boot, and i'm still running a single bat (Fullriver HC65) and stock alt (90A) so burps are dropping voltage to around 11v (bad I know).. But these Vibe Black Death Bass 1's sound fan-f***ing-tastic!, Class GH ftw so so so clean! I'm thinking of building another box, currently the tuning is way too high which I knew before I built this one but I was desperate. I just didn't want to mess around with current false floor and batt mounting, plus I could still access the spare tyre.

During MEA Bass Battle (22nd July) it managed 143dB @ 50Hz on music. The two amps strapped are rated at 5000wrms@13.8V. I will be building another box soon, perhaps just one sub and one amp due to space restraints, this time tuned a lot lower!

Your the guy with the Prelude? Nice install man, looks very clean, I'd suggest dropping a sub if you don't want to comprimise boot space but wanna play low.
