Hey guys

I have just downloaded WinISD so that i can run some models of various box designs etc myself

I'm having some trouble with it though, i have entered all the specs as it wanted them for the sub i am planning to use, but when i open a new project with that driver, it doesnt give me a graph point on the page at all. Just stays blank.

But if i open one for a preloaded sub it gives me a graph line for that...

What am i doing wrong?

EDIT: turns out it is coming out as a dead straight line across the page...

Then when i change the box size it vanishes

Not sure what's going on there.

The main specs you need are Qts, Vas, and Fs. Try with those, in case one of the others is entered incorrectly and causing an issue.

ok, ive entered everything in the order the help file told me to

Its then auto-filled vas as 0

Ill clear it and re-fill it, then post whether it fixes the problem or not

If i fill in all items correctly it refuses to save because the "consistency check has failed", but if i let it auto fill by filling it the right way it wont do it properly

Hmm ok. I must say, I don't use the 'Pro' version. I recall having some issues with it, or found it overly complex for what should be a simple thing. I just use the non-Pro version. Perhaps download that and give it a go.

Sorry, I have not encountered "consistency check has failed" before, so no idea what that might mean!

+1 WinIsd Beta is all a pleb like me needs ;)

That said, on the beta version when you enter the parameters, some of the units of measurement are changeable by clicking on them - Vas for example can swing between various metric and imperial units. Possibly if you enter the metric values into an imperial scale it may cause the consistency check to come up?
