Hi Everyone,

I have been visiting this forum for sometime and had an ok install in my last car which was Morel Supremo's running off an Alpine PDX 4.150 and 2 alpine type R's off a PDX 1.100 all through a Bit one. The PDX's proved to be lacking due to Noise distortion and I had several issues with the bit one and had it changed out several times to fault find. I went with Alpine because like a noob I thought they were the best, how much I had to learn!!

I have since learnt my lesson and have just recently bought a 06 sti and am planning a rather large high quality install. I now still have the Morel Supremo's for the front stage (absoloutely love them) and will be running them active off my thesis quattro. I just bought 3 Focal Dual monitors off a fellow member and will be using 2 of them to run 2 ID max 12 D4 sub's each at 2 ohms. The 3rd I will be using to power my rear speakers which I haven't decided on yet but would love another set of supremo's if I can find the money without my wife killing me! The head unit thanks to all your help will be a P99rs via a PS8 when it gets released.

It will be an epic build and I will probably start a thread to keep you all posted once I have the last couple of bit's of gear.

Hopefully it all fit's in the car!

Cheers for reading if you made it this far

if that's considered "OK" im looking forward to your new one!

just out of curiosity... why would you run a deck with full cross over t/a and eq into an external processor with full cross over t/a and eq? If you're going to get a PS8, you have no need for a p99... grab yourself the new P80RS for a crapload less and you get dual usb, ipod control and bluetooth. or any half-decent deck with 3 pairs of 4V+ RCAs.

I am running the PS8 so I can run a full optical path with an optical out cd stacker and have even more tuning capabiltiy for sq comps, plus the P99 is a sexy bit of kit! AlsoI will have to wait until the PS8 is released and can just use the P99 until then.

Thanks for the advice though
