Might venture up for a look but I have nothing SPL oriented to enter, nice work on organising something in Newcastle.

Hopefully we will be holding more regular events in the future.

With a shop move in June we will have a much larger premises to work with, meaning more SPL / Bass Race and possibly SQ comps are on the cards!

Thanks for your input, seems NSW events are non existent, or not advertisement on MEA anymore? :unknw:

Yeah the only SPL event I can remember seeing was at the last Auto Salon Newcastle had. I haven't been to Steamfest for 10+ years and this is a good reason to have a look without admitting I'm going to look at trains.

Anyone know if there is registration beforehand?
Would prefer not to run around on the morning........

Just answered my own question. Forms are in store now.

Yes entry forms can be obtained from both Autobarn Maitland and Autobarn Warners Bay.

Hopefully the weather decides to be nice, forecasts are "partly cloudy" at the moment. Will update if there's any changes etc.

Sweet thanks.
Should Craig and Shayne be 130-139.9 not 120-129.9?

Well, yeah......but they didnt get into that score zone so we'll call it class 2

I think the modified Bass Race format will be ideal for newcomers and non-SPL orientated systems.....i plan to trial it at the next comp! :good:

New rules will help because my 130.2 bust me out of my class and I would have beaten them had the rain not shortened the comp.
