What: Round 5 of the Victorian Series of MEASQ (BASS Battle Information Thread Here)

When: Saturday May 26th


Non Competitor Vehicles: Please note due to limited space, all non-competing vehicle are asked to help us by parking OUTSIDE of Autobarn.
We are expecting a large turnout to this event, so please assist us with this request.

Competitor Arrival & Registration: 4:00pm
Please park your car neatly in the area designated and proceed promptly to the MEASQ Marquee to place your entry.


Food & Drinks:

Food and drink are available at the event from vendors.


Competition & Judging Commences: 4:30pm - ABSOLUTELY NO LATE ENTRIES ACCEPTED unless prior arrangement has been made with an official.

MEASQ Classes (As per the 2012 Rules)


Novice Class -$20.00
Intermediate, Advanced, Expert Classes - $35.00
Show Class - $35.00

Combined Sound / Show Class Discounted Entry - $40.00


Trophies (in each class)
1st, 2nd, 3rd.

Additional Awards:
Judges Choice Award
Encouragement Award

Judging Discs:

As per the 2012 Rules, judges use an assortment of tracks for auditioning. Most of these tracks are available from www.referencediscs.com.au

100% in, my first competition too, bringing a swag of bass-nuts and spectators. I would be happy (honoured) to help setup or scrutineer as well if need be

I'm not sure if getting stuck on this path was a good or a bad thing, it's a path that requires very deep pockets :P

Haha I'll see what I can find! Just curious since I've never been to an event where it's been raining but how does the rain affect the judges ability to judge SQ cars? does it make it a whole lot harder given that you'll hear the sound of rain on the roof?

Yes, it does make it more difficult. We typically compensate by raising our judging volume by a small amount.
