now let me state im only the newest team member on here so my opinion dont mean much at the moment but... when i asked if anybody wanted a team in western sydney (mods feel free to delete that thread) i had envisinged a outlaw mc style hoodie/shirt for the team:

for example we could have the team.inc logo in the centre with our user name as the top rocker and the suburb as the bottom rocker along with special sewn on patches like 150club or ground pounder or bass outlaws etc to mark different achievments for that member. if keen we could always have a 'president', 'vice president', 'sgt at bass' and 'solders'

ranking aswell. it could be very cool/intimidating (lol) when we all meet up for a cruise or comp.. im happy to design and orginise these if other team.inc boys are cool with it?

any opinions on this ... looking at you luncbox.inc as you are the founding member.

and yes i watch too much sons of anarchy ...

Love the enthusiasm! Team shirts are something that has always been mentioned but not discussed...

The idea of sewn on patches is awesome! Like boy scouts!

Definitely post a mock up of your idea! And if anyone else has design ideas i think this is the time to start discussing

thanks lightbulb! if i could do it myself i would... i can barely post photos on the forum! ill talk to my mate (fry29t) and see if he can get something going.. although i was thinking more bad ass then boy scouts

only part i'm not 100% on, is having the area your from on there, as i know personally i like to keep where i live relatively quiet on a public level, but i would gladly wear my State, or possibly even a more generalized area, ie. Melbourne, Geelong, Sydney, Brisbane, Goldcoast, Townsville etc...

i ESPECIALLY like the idea of badges/patches, as well as rankings etc,

i'd have to go with something along the lines of

Team Leader Red Fox

or something of the sort

i'd acually be VERY keen to see what you guys come up with! you know if you need anything just ask, i have all the fonts etc sitting here i can sent thru if you need...

but DEFINITELY loving the idea!!

What're we thinking would be better? stitched onto a hoody would be interesting... cause it wouldn't stretch as such... but you'd be able to do it fairly easily... just send down patches, and get people to sew them onto whatever jacket they please... or just buy a jacket and get the patches made for it... like you guys source the jackets.

Lunch, do you have any kinda old school font kinda things? or any fonts you think would suit? The sig one might

But I'm all for you guys making up patches to send around, and we just sew to a hoody or something

awesome as far is im concerned you would have the president patch for sure! even if we just go state e.g n.s.w, victoria etc on font though obviously team.inc would be in the current style ... as an idea my mate did this after daniel and chris pro audio ( a dream we had at 17) gives an idea of the kind of font i was thinking for everything else, we could do white hoodie/zip hoodies/shirts with the the font done to suit the member e.g red for dean the ex, pink for lunchie, black for me and so on

i was thinking a print for the main patch and sewn on as we progress to different levels of acheivment

i like this idea so much that id even consider joining team .inc...

who am i kidding that will never happen , but seriously the patches could be a global thing, but obviously different teams have different jumpers, t-bird/pink ladies style!

Awesome idea!! I'd be happy with just the Team.inc logo in our allocated colours with our names above, below or on the back and then add on the patches as we progress?

email has been sent with the ideas of what i am thinking, when he comes back to me with a draft ill post it up for opinions.

i was thinking to keep it simple have all the smaller patches and our user names etc in black with a white backround and black border... like a number plate i suppose. that way the team.inc logos will really pop!

I could adopt back seat bandit, since my backseat is reserved for boxes, tools and such... I have my work bag on the backseat, along with my jumper cables, some small tools and a sub box (of the cardboard variety)

But uhh... oh... something to do with boot rattles? like 'rattle can' or 'Rattles' or something like that. I can't think of a good example, but something like that maybe?

Also, perhaps we could get our own thing per person if need be, and if we get a certain achievement (150+, 160+, 165+.... 20kw+, 25kw+, etc.) we put them on, and be part of the 150+/ whatever group

What we might do is have a baseline of basic achievments and silly things then individuals can get more specific ones made in the same font?

At the moment it looks like it will be around 10 bucks per patch but have to be made in lots of 2, something to do with the way the machine

i think having the patches available is a great idea, especially a kind of large Team.inc one (maybe 30cm-ish?) and then having the achievement ones available to order in some way... i know i'd be happy to cover a few rounds of achievement patches, that shouldn't be too hard...

so far i was thinking about 20mm high by 125-150mm long big enough to read without being massive (that way the should fit on sleeves or on the front etc)

if wanted i can get some pricing on larger sew on patches for the user name and area (optional) in the same style as the smaller ones,black and white, just larger maybe 50mm by 400mm roughly.. i would still like to do the curved look but ill check on pricing.

from what i can tell i think it will be too pricey to do the logo embroided due to the complexity so im going to go back to the printer and see how hard differant colours for the logo would be,

worst case would everyone be happy to have the original pink and white colouring as the logo and everything else in black on white? just trying to keep costs down... its a longer process then i thought but ill make some more calls tomorrow to follow up where we are up to

I hate zip-up hoodies because all the scumrats around here used to/still do wear them and just have a general distaste for them. Black denim vests would be cool. I think I saw a pic of that dude from that Sons of Anarchy show, on a DVD cover with one on like that. Or something.

I'd say stick with patches, as I'm told iron-on ones rub off/ flake off after a while...
But I'd be more than willing to get two of each, so two team.inc, two drifter995, two 'Closet Bassist' or something xD so then I get a zip-up hoody, and a leather vest of some description just for funzies. or make one for the gf, maybe xD Either way, I'm very very keen
Should also ask the guy if he can do two for $10 or something, since he has to print in two's... see if you can bargain with him or something ;D
