The amp was $360 landed from New York. Ordered it Monday night so I'm really impressed that it arrived this morning. I just got a fine and electricity so subs are on hold until I get some more cash but for $650 shipped I will be getting them asap :-)

Have you got the subs to test it out yet?
I'm still not 100% on choosing this amp for my future install, but it puts out the rated power I'll be needing (3000W RMS @1Ohm).

I'd love to see what the clamped power is from these amps, they are supposedly CEA compliant but they are so cheap, I mean $360 for 3k rms? WOW! That's about the same money I paid for my Hifonics Brutus 1200.1 a little over a year ago.

Yep same buildhouse as a ot of more 'expensive' gear, perhaps built to slightly different tolerances. Either way, not a bad amp for chicken feed I reckon.

There is nothing to complain about when your getting gear that cheap, even if it only makes half rated power that is still very cheap power :D

Maxxsonics amps aren't as bad as people make them out to be. They save money on areas like signal processing (crossover) components - not really an issue in a sub amp. I think they have the same problem as the Jaycar amps - they are cheap so people who don't know what they are doing buy them, abuse them, and then blame the product when it fails.

This is very true ^^^ They are solid as hell. I just did 18 hours of driving over the weekend with my partner and our mate and slammed the hell out of the BRZ1200.1D, It held it's own exceptionally well. Never got hot enough to be note worthy either :-D

Soooo cant wait to hook some RE 12's up to 2K RMS and see what happens. Getting close to having enough cash. Need to keep plenty reserved for bond and transfer fee's for moving :-(

I slam the hell out of my BRZ1200.1D everyday and it rarely heats up. I had it pounding for a good 30-40mins the other day at max volume and the amp was still cold after woulds, the sub was warm but not hot, so it wasn't driving it into clipping. I love this amp, I just hope that when I eventually buy a Colossus that it is in the same league in terms of quality.

i have a maxxonics built MB Quart amp that ive had and used for about 3 years now. its blown me away. 4x125rms for i think was about $220. still going today. and about to use it in about its 4th install. the only issue i had with it was on a 4 hour straigh drive on a 40 degree day in a car with no AC and it was in the boot. went into protect after about 3.5 hours of literaly getting thrashed non stop. turn the deck off and back on and was 100%. bargain i say.

Literally just finished putting the HFi1000.1D into my bosses XR6 and holly heck! The sound difference out of the two 300RMS Clarion WG2510's is outstanding.

They had a Clarion XH5410 in bridged mode feeding each woofer 320RMS previously and this Hifonics is far superior for sound quality and it added musicality to the bass!!

They are running @ 2ohm with 375RMS to each woofer. I have the gain on about 3/4 so theoretically the same as the old amp on full?

Really impressed and cannot wait to hook this 3000RMS monster up SOON! wish I had more money and less bills!
