Clint's untuned/reset H800 still sounds great with minimal tuning, I guess it's testimate to the great install and good gear. Clint, you underestimated your car/system
Well done to team FCA for taking out 1st in all sq classes and to team Phatt for providing such terrific competition and continuing to provide the current benchmark to anyone who enters show judging.

Even without the "drawcard" of Bass Battle, we still had 20 individual competitors and about a dozen spectators that I could see. Not bad for such a "boring" event.
As usual, good work by the admin and judging crew to set-up and keep things running smoothly through the day, quite a bit of merchandise was sold I believe, also great to see a couple of new competitors come along and try their hand in the Novice and Intermediate classes - hopefully we'll be seeing Jason, Damien and Nathan at round 7 in a month's time.
Congratulations to all the winners and place-getters. There certainly were a couple of surprises, with Daniel coming out of nowhere to take 1st place in Intermediate, with a change of amplifier and move to active just 24hours earlier (Team FCA appear to be doing something right, with Broadz' win last round and now Daniel this round...not to mention myself, Alan and Mark all plodding along with good results again in the Advanced and Expert classes).
Loving the friendly rivalry between the FCA and Phatt teams, with FCA managing to take 1st place in all SQ classes, but Billy putting on a good show to take 1st place in Show Class, 2nd place in Intermediate Class AND the Judges' Choice award.
Finally, thanks to Mark of Frankston Car Audio for hosting the event, I know there are a few changes coming for the business, so juggling those with hosting the event was a tremendous effort and is much appreciated by the MEASQ team and the competitors.

But given that the car really hasn't been driven and the PXA had lost all its settings after an power spike. I am pretty pumped.
Who knows what might have happened with a 30 second tune

Well done guys and girls! I was pretty gutted not to be able to attend the final round at FCA - seeing as I've never been there and this year was supposed to be "the year".
You've still got a chance.. round 7 (final round) is at Phatt in July..

Without giving too much away, this round really was the last (ever) of MEASQ at FCA..
As has already been said, a smaller than the usual turnout at this round but I think the cars that did attend are the "cream of the crop" in MEASQ [Vic]
Congrats to all the winners and placegetters.. the competition in this years State title chase is close and the results are very unpredictable.
TEAM FCA once again took the top step of the podium in all SQ classes but Team Phatt is close on our heals and making us work for our (top
The guys in Intermediate should be holding their heads high.. they really are representing our team well! I think a team 1,2,3 in Inter, is not far away!
A very big thank you must go to all the MEASQ judges and admin for making the day run as smoothly as it did..
Now on to round 7 in July....
Mark
