SPL-friendly front stages

Before I part with hard-earned dollars on the new HU (love the look of the Clarion CZ702a, and it gives me room to change things up a lot if i want to), I wanna know what Splits & Coaxials are good to take a beating in an SPL car.
Naturally my OCD makes me want to go and buy lot of Clarion gear to match the HU, so before I go and harass my mates at Autobarn T'gon for a package, does anyone have any suggestions for component speakers that work well if you run say 3sets upfront and a couple in the rear? Is it alright to run a beefy 4channel or two, and series/parallel the speakers up so they're still a 2 or 4ohm load? (Say 3x 75w rms per corner, means i'd be after a 4x225+w rms amp?)

Mark from Team XSNOISE was running 3 pairs in small pods off the front doors of his mazda 121 SPL car last time i saw, his front stage kept up with mine in the charade without a sweat, and mine was running 4x pairs of 6x9s in full door builds, off 100rms a piece... so they get VERY loud for the money, and sound great doing it...

the clarity wasnt there but i think that was a lot to do with my install. but i tell you they got daaaaam loud. i opened the doors at a car cruz in an underground carpark. you literaly couldnt hear the person next to you yelling in your ear from 50m away. sounded a lot like a nightclub. downside is my subs had no chance of keeping up lol. but that was a $300 setup from a fellow member in the FS section.
look into pro audio drivers. winner in terms of output.

Who stocks Morel in VIC? I've decided that any monies spent on my stereos that I make through work & eBay etc will be invested in local businesses that support us here at MEA. Afterall, I've learnt a lot so far, and want to continue to learn & share car audio for a long time so spending a bit more and keeping the money local seems like the best idea to me

I can forsee that the 150 will be done with either a burp or a very select sample of tuned music, but for the other 358 days a year when i'm not trying to win an MEA trophy, I do want to play rich, dynamic and LOUD music!

Many different stores sell them, including one shop in Morwell , Frankston Car Audio, Phatt Audio or Riverside Customs
Only problem I've always noticed is no matter how many 6 inch speakers you have up front you almost always need larger, beefier midbasses to fill the audible gap between 40-200hz. Both Jamie's (RYDFMX) Hiace and Swift were a good example of mulitple 6 inch drivers simply not keeping up with the subbass for that solid "fullrange" sound.
Multiple 8s or 10s is where its at... Realistically dual 8 midbass per door with midrange and tweeters should be achieveable in an el/ef falcon. I've seen 10s and 12s in the door but becomes very obstructive and downright dangerous to the driver.
Jamie's latest groundpounder (mercedes vito) will feature dual tens + 6 + tweeters per door
