Hey Guys,

I have a XXX-18 Sub and im going to be installing it in my CE Lancer running about 5-6krms.

I want to figure out what the best design of the box would be for a mix between SPL and SQ. Something that hits hard but is good to listen to daily.

Some of the factors im considering is whether I face the sub up, to the rear or sealed facing forward? Aeroport or slot port? Bandpass?
I'm aiming to get the tuning in the mid 30hz

Anyone had a bit of trail and error with this kind of install? Just looking for some guidance.

6 cuft @ 35hz roughly would be the go i would think for the best of both worlds

Slot port would be easier and cheaper, you would have to make a custom aeroport for that that beast (or multiple 6" ports).

after playing with the 15's...and my mate had 2 15's on 1 4k..be carefull with that much power daily..that and you don't got much room work with lol

but i agree 6cube 35hz be sweet..maybe take out back seat?
