Guys and girls...

Amid the cold... yet another glorious day, if I do say so myself! :)

Many thanks to Ray and Taif for holding the event, the judges.. ALL 4 OF THEM (which was fantastic to see, as the day finished at 3pm!!! shock horror! :P ) thanks to the Eclipse/Fusion and Treo team for coming out. Good to speak to you all...

To those that one awards, good effort and in particular, KickerCat, for winning the encouragement award as well as taking top spot in Amateur Street, I believe.... good stuff :) Also well done to the dude with the black Barina, sorry I didn't get the chance to properly introduce myself, I was curious about your car though.. next time I might demo it :D If you're kind enough.

Richard... you don't get congratulations.. you ALWAYS come first so it's nothing new! hahaha. My offer still stands.. if you want anybody to build you a trophy room... lemme know.. I'll hook you up! hahaha

Good to see new faces aswell... We always extend our welcome to those curious and it does not hurt to enter your car with WHATEVER gear you have. Whether it be a project in progress (hint hint: DAMO95!!! :P ) or you just want to see how your gear sounds and discover where it may be lacking or if it does have the sound quality you expected from an unbiased point of view.

And once again.. I hope you all enjoyed my cooking! :D I've learned one thing today.. ALWAYS CHECK the gas cylinder BEFORE you cook.. don't think the bottle is full everytime!! But then again, it wasn't mine to check..so I blame Ray for that :P hahahaha

Well done boys and girls once again. I can't wait to see pics of this day and for the next round.

:D

Obviously, I'm absolutely stoked! Considering who I was up against, its a great result for my first comp! Thanks a MILLION to Marty for the lend of the fire extunguisher, and thanks to Marc, Bobby_Digital, Blanky, Tiger, and everyone else who told me to go for it :D I guess my system shows it can be done without big bucks, and that just giving it a go is the most important part :D

See you all at the next one - ~Spyne~, and Fury - I'm expecting to see you boys there!

What a great day, except for the fact that all the girls left me to be pretty much the only girl. But i ended up keeping myself pretty busy.

Congrats to KickerCat or is it just "Cat" now hehe (sorry). Its just goes to show you dont need to spend thousands of dollars or all those hours to recieve a trophy. Good on you, for having the guts to just jump in and compete and see what you got, and as it turned out you walked away with two trophies. WELL DONE!!!

Good job to the judges on a quick day, it was so nice to leave early and not hang around till after dinner.
Thanks to Tiger for cooking the food. Hamburgers were so yummy.
I wont thank Marc as all he did was look good today LOL. jk
Eclipse, its great to see the support, and to the new faces that came today and entered, good to see.

And last but not least, thanks to Hektik for holding the event, always guaranteed a laugh with Ray around.

Good Job people.

yeah good work to everyone!

both Kickercat and Ricardo in the barina, fantastic to see 2 new competitors do so well!

and was nice to be able to finish early also :D

big thanks to Eclipse and Hektik for the day! and everyone else involved!
QUOTE (RMA @ Feb 6 2010, 01:22 AM) My only regrets are:
Selling Fudd an amp (for a fraction of the real price) that had been returned by Autobarn Geelong which had been incorrectly used by AB Geelong and turned out to be faulty when Fudd started using it.
Whilst he was given a new amp after it could not be fixed, he never acknowledged any of the assistance given and bitches to this day about it.
