Nsw Sq Competitors - Read Me Now!

This thread is about keeping CAASQ NSW alive.
From what was said in another post, there is a slight chance we could have another event before the finals.
IMAO this is essential for preperation for the finals! Some people have upgrades/ changes to there cars planned, and if they want to go to the finals, feedback and tuning advice is required. Even if you don't want to go to the finals, another comp is always great!
From what has been already said, it will probably be a pre entry event.
It looks like this could be the last chance for people in NSW to show there support for a true SQ comp in NSW.
Who is interested in a final comp before the finals? If you are interested please post there and say so. Remember, this could be NSW's last chance!!!!!

I think it would be essential for CAASQ NSW to have another event prior to National Finals for the reasons you mentioned.
If we can get 13 competitors minimum on a pre-entry basis, then I can't see why that can't happen. We (Bruce, Myself etc), might even be prepared to come up as well for Judging if there is enough interest shown.

Anyone who said they were going to turn up yesterday and didn't is a bum.
Anyone who whinges how there was no SQ comps in NSW and didn't turn up is a bum.
After the crap I went through to get my car there on the day after I had no sub amp and my entire right channel disintegrated the night before there are no excuses. Even T-Rex got George to take his car as he was working on Sunday!
If we do not start supporting the competition the industry will no longer support it. Unfortunately Chris had to apologise yesterday to Tony Doran who opened up on a Sunday and had a BBQ for the lack of competitors. No apologies necessary Chris, this lies squarely with those who didn't turn up. You know who you are.

The simple matter is, there are enough people on these forums alone to attract even 20+ competitors if they put the effort in.
Next year it will be a case of ... why aren't there any SQ comps in NSW?

big thanks to pete for showing, given the effort he went to, including installing his sub amp at 7am that morning, just to get it together on the day!

I said I was going to turn up and didnt, but I think that fact that my car was potentially unroadworthy is more the a valid excuse. Getting it towed there was not an option
If not for this i would have been there guaranteed, even despite my system being out of tune, and me having a late night the night before.. id have been there with 2 hours sleep if I had to.
That said, as soon as im given a rough date, and a location - as long as i have nothing planned on the date, and the location is reasonable to me - i'll be there. Oh, and as long as my car is roadworthy...
If i'm capable of entering, then i'd be more then happy to pre-enter and pre-pay if need be.
That said, I've only made one comp so far out of 4 - so i'd be going for the fun of it, rather then to get myself a trophy.

This thread is about the NEXT NSW COMP.
Lets leave the last one behind us, and discuss the next one. Lets look at building CAASQ NSW, not pointing the finger at anyone about old events.
