Hi, guys this is my first post on an Aussie car audio site and I was just wondering what some opinions are on my first SQ system as opposed to the opinions on American forums.

Most of the gear has been bought and is being shipped except for the splits and wiring.

HU: Pioneer DEH-P4690MP (pretty basic, will probably look at Eclipse or Nakamichi upgrade later on)

Frontstage Amp: Zapco Reference 350.2 (2 x 100wrms @ 4ohms)

Frontstage: Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 (100wrms @ 4ohms)

Sub Amp: Xtant 6.1 (1 x 600wrms @ 2ohms)

Sub: Resonant Engineering SE 10" in sealed enclosure (600wrms @ 2ohms)

Wiring: Streetwires 2ga to fused distribution block - 4ga to amps - 4ga ground

I was looking at Class AB for my sub amp such as Zapco 500.1 but my budget wouldn't allow it  So I settled for the class D Xtant which I got a great deal on. Also, I haven't bought the Infinitys yet so please let me know of other splits in the same price range to match my Zapco (seems like Focals are quite popular around here).

Please let me know what you think. Thanks.

if I remember the model corectly, the speaker you are talking about have listened to them a while ago. this aluminum mids have a very detailed vocal that only associated with metal cone woofer. sound like a good system. your next move would be Eclipse 8455. No go for NAK. it is no longer the NAK we used to know. they are now made in the same factory that make cheap OEM tapedeck for some car.

I can get the Infinitys for about $370. What series of Morel and Focal would you recommend in that price range? Any other brands?

Also, just wondering how common are Resonant Engineering (especially SE series) subs in Australia?

in the focals you could get the 65 cv or if you spent a little more you could get the 65kf which are a good speaker, in the morel you could look at the hybrid ovation coaxials or the pulse 6 splits
