hey guys

i have 2 us Amps 4000x's
and an earthquake dhc 200

looking at buying:
an idmax 12

or 2 alpine typer's (12's)

which combination do you think would be better?

i have a falcon, so space is not an issue ....

after some good sound quality and some decent bass that i can feel too

definitely IDmax.... :D, I owned the type r before, it's not fair to compared it to IDmax

yeh the IDMAX 4 sure....

no point comparing really unless someone can get 2 type Rs sounds as good as an IDMAX which im doubting

IDMAX.

For a compromise between sound quality and SPL (with the slight bias towards SQ) the IDMAX is very, very hard to beat for under $1,000.

would it be worth using one amp for one voice coil
amd another for the 2nd voice coil??

or not worth bothering
i would be using the two us-4000x's

whats the rated power on those amps?

personally, i would only use 1 amp for that sub..
altho they are rated at 1000wrms, they are very efficient..
it all comes down to power tho..
