I'm currently using MBQ RCE216 and it sound crappy, should i change it or change the current amp that i'm using? i'm using a jvc amp rated 50 RMS per channel.

I'm thinking to get a focal polyglass 6.5. Is this focal gonna sound better than my MBQ RCE ? Pls tell me wat is the sound quality different in MBQ RCE & Focal polyglass.

I usually listen to music with strong vocal like Norah Jones.

Focal will sound worse. can you define the word " sound crappy" a bit more? the term "crappy" doesn't help me any more than you arn't happy with the sound.

They are not well sealed, will this affect my sound quality?
By the way are they properly powered? 50 RMS per channel and the MBQ is rated 60-120

The sound quality of MBQ is not natural at all sound very artificial. Their staging and image is ok. MBQ is lack of detail on the background sound and sometimes abit harsh. looking for a car speaker that sounds like a home speaker for example "B&W CDM 1"

take off the door skin and seal all service holes with thin mdf cut to size.
also, the speakers should ideally be mounted securely to mdf rings or in pro door pods.

No, you need a rigid enclosure.
here.

Trust me, doing this made my cheapy jaycar speakers sound MUCH more natural, smooth, and bassy. I cant imagine what it will do for yours, plus, sealing and deadening has the added benefit of reducing the amount of road noise you will hear in the cabin.
