2005 Eclipse CAASQ National Finals
The 2005 Eclipse CAASQ Sound Quality National Finals event is an invitational only event (wildcard entries excepted) where the top five competitors in each class, in each state from the leaderboard in the 2005 series have the chance to battle it out.
The details for this event are as follows:
Location: Wagga Wagga Showgrounds. Cnr Bourke & Urana Streets.
Eclipse CAASQ National Finals will be an outdoor event, with limited cover and held adjacent to Hammond Hall.
Date: Saturday 10th December.
Time: Competitor Entry & Registration - Strictly 8:45am - 9:00am No Late Entry Accepted.
Entry Fees: All competitors - all classes - $65.00

- Judges Choice
Judging Software: Specifically Alpine's First Encounter Reference Disc (only!) You now have time to tune for this disc if necessary. No further discussion will take place on the use of this disc or others.
Judging Format: Two independent teams of 3 judges made up from experienced judges from VIC, NSW & QLD.
Each vehicle will be judged twice. The average score of the two judging sheets will be the final score.
No correspondence/feedback will be given to the competitor at the completion of judging (This is the National Finals after all).
Scoresheets will not be shown / given to the competitor until the completion of the event.
Financial Membership Requirement: It is a requirement of ALL competitors wishing to compete at National Finals 2005 to be a Financial Member. The cost for this is $75.00
- You cannot enter this event unless you have paid this fee.
- You can pay at this time it in addition to your event entry fee.
- Non-Financial members do NOT qualify for STATE SERIES Leaderboard Awards.
240V Power: It is possible that there will be 240V power available nearby. Suffiecent power boards and extension leads is the competitors responsibility.
Accomodation: Majority of competitors are staying at Wagga Wagga Beach Caravan Park

Cabins from $55.00 inc GST per night. Most competitors are staying Friday and Saturday Nights.
This is approximately a very easy 10 minute drive to the showgrounds.
Presentation: Capital Nightclub (Private Function in conjunction with dB Drag Racing Presentation).
109 Baylis Street, Wagga Wagga. Time to be confirmed and announced at National Finals event for presentation (expected around 7pm).
National Series Presentations: The awards for the National Series in NSW, VIC and QLD will also be awarded at the Saturday Night Presentation.

- Pro Street | State Champion, Runner Up
- Pro Show | State Champion, Runner Up
Rule Enforcement: During the National Finals event, rules for the 2005 season will be heavily enforced. This includes such criteria as wiring safety (including adequate protection of battery terminals), presence of fire extinguishers etc. Any car not complying with any rule will NOT be given a second chance.
Wild Card Entries: A number of positions have been allocated to the provision for Wild Card entries. A wild card entry may be permitted to a competitor who contacts us prior to the event. Entry may be granted to that competitor even if they have not qualified for the National Finals event, based on their reasons (ie. equipment / vehicle failure and missed events, previous known competitor returning to competition etc). This is soley at the discretion of event organisers. Normal Entry Fees and Financial Membership policy applies. Entry Process: If you have finished in the top five in your class in your state you will receive an invitation in the mail (if your state has forwarded us your details). You do not need this invitation to submit your entry however (but you do need to be in the top five).
Entry for the National Finals event is strictly on a pre-entry basis with no exceptions.
