my 6.5" are in the kicks, no sealed enclosure, facing up to the occupants.
lovely image but they drop off below 100Hz. the sub crosses over at 80, so it's not a real problem.
midbass, unless you can get the angle on them to face the occupants, will tend to roll off above 500Hz, so you'd then need mids and tweets (or horns, etc) to cover the frequency range.
if you have the space to do it with the speakers facing to the occupants, much better sound.
kick panels effect on my sound ?
