Might be worth checking out the Audiosystem F2-300. 2 x 150 rms and $599 rrp with a 3 yr warranty and made in Italy. We have been handling them for around 5 months and they are getting solid feedback from users. (nice plug for one of my products, don't you think) Northfield Moorooka and Macregor have them on display. (a more blatant bit of advertising hasn't been seen since DD Phils last post!)

I'll throw in a good word for the Audio System amps, I picked up one of the F2>500's from the boys at Northfield the other day, great gutsy little thing for its size, Ive put the F4>600 they have on layby to power a set of 3 way Dyn's when i get them. There is a link for the site getting around the forum's do a search, otherwise I"m sure Hutch will put one in once he checks this post again.

jlaudio 300/2 isnt imported into australia.

jlaudio 300/4 has the same rated 2 channel performance anyway.

Beat me too it with the link, thanks. Yes, they have been going very well and have proved to be a good watt per dollar/size package with surprisingly good SQ. (another shameless plug disguised as a thoughtful response to a members post, I'm getting good at this!)

I run an Eclipse PA4212, produces 130rmsx2 at 4ohm stereo and sounds amazing. Though i need a better front stage to display its full potential at the moment.

RRP 650

I picked mine up for $500 brand new. Though Eclipse have newer model amps now so maybe one of those IcePower amps would be worth looking at?

Hope you find something cheers...

others worth considering:
*audison SRx2S $570
*alpine MRV-T420 $699
*boston acoutics GT22 $699
*digital designs C2 $599

except for the DD, not the power you're after, but still more than enough power to drive those speakers very loudly, and all offer perfectly good SQ in keeping with the speaker-quality.

Well I'll always wait until it's brought up at least.

As suggested, the C2 was just tested by CSA to make 2x280Wrms into 4 ohms, 24dB crossovers rrp $599

dont discount a high end 4 channel

then you can bridge to get more power or use the system active.

4channel amps bridged seem to have more power than the 2 channels on the market (well @4ohms anyway)
